About the Role

We are seeking a talented DevOps Infrastructure as Code Engineer to join Alignerr's dynamic team. As a DevOps Infrastructure as Code Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of cutting-edge AI applications. Your expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure automation will be vital in designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure tailored for AI development.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Monitor and enhance system performance and reliability to ensure optimal operation.
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
  • Summarize troubleshooting and design decisions effectively to communicate with team members.
  • Collaborate with top industry experts to innovate and improve AI infrastructure.
  • Utilize your deep interest in AI/ML infrastructure and cloud computing to drive projects forward.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in related roles, preferably in DevOps or SRE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency with major cloud providers, with AWS being preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking and security practices.
  • Comfortable writing modular, DRY Infrastructure as Code.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a data-centric AI platform environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible freelance work environment.
