CNC Machinist & Programmer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist & Programmer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the CNC manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality machining operations and supporting our machine operators. As a CNC Machinist & Programmer, you will create and optimize CNC programs, ensuring precision and efficiency in our production processes.

What You'll Do

• Create, optimize, and simulate CNC programs (including Mastercam 2D/3D) and derive necessary processing steps for turning and milling processes.
• Set up and prepare CNC machining machines, including measuring, completing, and installing tools and clamping devices.
• Clamp and precisely align workpieces, execute programs step-by-step, and input correction values into the control system.
• Ensure smooth machine operation: operate, load, and unload machines while monitoring processes.
• Resolve malfunctions and perform minor maintenance and cleaning tasks on the machines.
• Inspect and correct workpieces, conducting rework to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Train, guide, and review the work of machine operators, coordinating problem-solving with relevant departments.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking field (e.g., CNC Machinist).
• Several years of experience in CNC machining, including setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC machines (turning and/or milling).
• Very good knowledge of CNC programming, ideally with Mastercam 2D/3D.
• Experience in 5-axis machining and familiarity with Mazatrol, Haas, or Heidenhain is a plus.
• Good German language skills (minimum B2).
• Willingness to work in a three-shift model.
