About the Role

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO to join our dynamic team at SpruceID. This Chief of Staff remote position is pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness of our CEO by managing priorities and streamlining operations. As a key player in our organization, you will engage in strategic discussions and tactical tasks, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

What You'll Do

  • Support the CEO in managing government sales cycles, ensuring CRM hygiene, and preparing for meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements to enhance operational velocity.
  • Conduct strategic research and synthesize information on government technology and digital identity trends.
  • Draft and polish communications and content for the CEO, including policy memos and public presentations.
  • Fill cross-functional gaps by managing various projects and processes as needed.
  • Travel as required to meet with government clients and attend events.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or business development within a technology company.
  • Exceptional written communication skills for drafting on behalf of the CEO.
  • Proficiency in AI tools and workflow automation to enhance productivity.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and switch contexts effectively.
  • Familiarity with government or regulated industries is a strong plus.
  • High agency and low ego, willing to engage in all aspects of the role.
