Cash Management Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

At Kantox, we are looking for a Cash Management Intern to join our Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to engage in dynamic problem-solving and assist with daily account reconciliations, payment checks, and data analysis. As a Cash Management Intern, you will play a vital role in preparing information for negotiations with liquidity providers.

What You'll Do

• Assist with accounts reconciliation and payment investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, on automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Maintain organized records and compile data for ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Analyze datasets and prepare information for relevant stakeholders, focusing on reporting and fees & tariffs negotiations.
• Communicate with banking partners to resolve trading, settlement, and other banking issues.
• Identify manual tasks and help automate them into scalable workflows.

Requirements

• A relevant Bachelor’s or Master's degree or currently studying Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• General interest in Financial Markets with strong data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Spreadsheets; experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Fluent English skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Critical thinker with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive, self-starting approach, result-oriented, and quality-focused.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial software or tools.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange processes.
• Interest in automation and process improvement.
