About the Role

Join Galaxy as an Associate UI/UX Developer - Front-End (Data Centers) in this exciting remote position. As a key member of our team, you will help shape the future of digital assets and data center infrastructure. You will work closely with backend and infrastructure engineers to create intuitive and powerful user interfaces that enhance operational workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Build modern, scalable frontend applications that support internal data center and infrastructure workflows.
  • Help define and evolve frontend architecture, shared components, and UI standards as the system grows.
  • Own frontend features end-to-end, collaborating closely with backend and infrastructure engineers.
  • Implement performant, maintainable, and intuitive user interfaces and data-dense views for operational systems.
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Improve frontend build pipelines, tooling, and architecture to increase reliability and developer productivity.
  • Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to uphold high engineering standards.
  • Help scope and prioritize work, balancing feature development, technical debt, and operational needs.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional experience building frontend applications.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major modern frontend framework (Vue.js, React, Angular/Svelte also relevant).
  • Familiarity with Node.js environments and frontend build tooling.
  • Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, and frontend application design.
  • Experience making technical decisions in frontend codebases, including tradeoffs around architecture, performance, and maintainability.
  • Understanding of UX and UI design principles, especially for complex or data-heavy applications.
  • Ability to design, debug, test, and document well-structured frontend code.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC) or permissioned frontend systems.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries and performance-sensitive UI patterns.
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with gRPC, Connect-Web, or API-driven frontend architectures.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, or observability concepts (e.g., Envoy Proxy).
  • Experience building internal tools, admin panels, or operational dashboards.
