Area Sales Manager - Remote Opportunity at JTI

What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Business Advisers, managing the full employee life cycle, including recruitment, development, engagement, and succession planning.
- Provide clear direction and coaching, holding regular one-on-one meetings to review goals, growth areas, career aspirations, and well-being, while effectively addressing underperformance.
- Create and implement an Area Sales Plan to drive profit, distribution, availability, share growth, and ROI in line with company and regional objectives.
- Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring alignment with strategic and tactical plans.
- Manage budget allocation and spending, maximizing return on investment and ensuring efficient resource deployment.
- Develop and execute operational plans, including people resource planning, monitoring KPIs, and communicating team performance regularly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key shop owners, regional accounts, and internal stakeholders to drive category growth and collaboration.
- Collect and share feedback and insights from the field to inform regional priorities and support continuous improvement across the business.
Requirements
- Good standard of education.
- Proven experience in people management and leadership.
- Account management experience, particularly in the vape channel, is preferred.
- Experience with Nicotine Pouch and Reduced Risk products is essential.
- Strong understanding of different RTMs for RRP is essential.
- Excellent leadership, people development, influencing, project management, commercial planning, organization, coaching, and analytical skills.
- Very strong communication skills with an assertive, teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Fluent English speaker and writer.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the vape industry.
- Knowledge of market trends in the e-commerce sector.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
