Operations Lead - Retail (Full-time)

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Lead (Retail) to join Mejuri, a brand that has redefined fine jewelry since 2015. This Operations Lead role is crucial for ensuring a seamless customer journey in our retail environment. As an Operations Lead, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and optimizing back-of-house (BOH) processes while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail setting and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead by example to validate the quality of the in-store customer experience, ensuring that all team members uphold Mejuri's Steps of Selling.
• Maximize results and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by driving both your performance and that of your team.
• Partner with Operations teams to conduct successful inventory and cycle counts monthly, ensuring proper technology and troubleshooting guidance is in place.
• Manage the back-of-house flow to support in-store sales, phone sales, or Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS), ensuring efficiency with packaging and order delivery standards.
• Maintain the organizational integrity of our BOH, including display inventory, sellable inventory, and all supplies.
• Utilize point-of-sale systems and inventory management software to track and manage inventory accurately.
• Coach and inform all store team members on updates or changes to visual merchandising standards.
• Participate in the onboarding of new talent and validate regular assessments of team performance against KPIs.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume retail environment, with a strong understanding of operational standards and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with critical thinking ability to identify potential challenges and develop action plans.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in alignment with store availability requirements.
• Proficient in using retail technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
