Mid-Market Account Executive - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are excited to announce an opening for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our rapidly growing team at Kernel. This remote Mid-Market Account Executive position offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative AI solutions that are transforming the way businesses manage their data. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
What You'll Do
- Manage complex sales cycles with mid-market and emerging enterprise businesses (500-5,000 employees), focusing on mid-five to six-figure deals.
- Collaborate with the SDR team to source opportunities while also proactively building your own pipeline.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to gather insights and feedback that will enhance our offerings.
- Develop and refine our sales processes as we expand our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and explore new verticals.
- Become a product expert, capable of clearly articulating the value of our solutions to potential customers.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year of consistently closing deals worth $50k+/year.
- Proven track record of achieving six- to seven-figure sales targets in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Ability to execute a consultative, solutions-oriented, value-based selling methodology.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfort in negotiating contracts and navigating security and legal discussions independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in startup or scale-up environments.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and selling to Revenue Operations or GTM teams.
