What You'll Do

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm, whether over the phone, virtual chats, or in person, to create a five-star customer experience.
• Perform fittings and alterations, ensuring each garment is tailored to perfection according to David's Bridal standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers about alteration services and how they can enhance their dress for special occasions.
• Maintain a clean and organized alterations room, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by providing expert advice on gown fit and customization options.
• Manage customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, escalating issues to the leadership team when necessary.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting all garments before final delivery to customers.
• Support cash wrap processes and handle transactions accurately, making every customer feel celebrated.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is required, preferably in bridal and/or special occasion production.
• Familiarity with computerized POS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.
• Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds and perform manual dexterity tasks.
• Passion for customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
