About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AI Application Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in building next-generation AI solutions that address real business challenges. As an AI Application Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to develop production AI systems that make a measurable impact.

What You'll Do

  • Transform ideas into AI solutions by collaborating with product teams and business stakeholders to design LLM-powered applications.
  • Own the full stack of AI applications, optimizing them from model integration through deployment, including prompt engineering and model selection.
  • Create proof-of-concepts by rapidly prototyping new AI capabilities and evaluating emerging models.
  • Optimize AI performance by improving response quality, reducing latency, and managing costs through smart caching and prompt optimization.
  • Collaborate on AI safety by implementing guardrails, content filtering, and evaluation metrics to ensure responsible AI deployment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience with a recent focus on LLM applications and AI agents.
  • Strong Python skills, with proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, async patterns, and API development.
  • Experience building RAG systems, including retrieval pipelines and embedding strategies.
  • Hands-on experience developing AI agents with tool-use, planning, and reasoning capabilities.
  • Familiarity with emerging agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, and CrewAI.
  • Applied knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for LLM systems.
  • Practical experience with cloud AI platforms like Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
  • Understanding of containerization and deployment strategies for AI applications.
