WM Area Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join Medtronic as a WM Area Coordinator and take on a pivotal role in our Heerlen 3 Warehouse Management team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while overseeing daily warehouse management operations, focusing on operator performance and execution. As a WM Area Coordinator, you will lead with purpose, ensuring that healthcare access and equity are championed through your work.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily Warehouse Management (WM) activities within the assigned area.
• Oversee WM picking, packing, and staging activities to meet operational standards.
• Monitor stock accuracy and escalate discrepancies when identified.
• Facilitate daily WM activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Act as a team lead, supporting the supervisor/manager in coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Ensure the performance board and action tracker are updated and accurate.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and service levels.
• Train and coach team members, delegate tasks, and review work quality while providing clear direction to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Practical experience and knowledge of warehouse management and logistics operations.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Computer literacy (MS-Office Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong sense of responsibility and flexibility to take on additional tasks when required.
• Able to prioritize and work under pressure, coping with stressful situations, customer-focused and service-oriented.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a leadership role within warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in logistics.
