About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Senior Fire Flood Technician to join our fire and flood restoration team remotely. This Senior Fire Flood Technician role offers a physically demanding yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in restoring properties damaged by fire, smoke, or water. You will work on-site to support specialist technicians in restoring residential and commercial buildings to a habitable condition.
What You'll Do
- Perform water extraction, strip-out, and setup of drying equipment.
- Conduct soot decontamination and fire damage cleaning.
- Carry out sanitizing, deodorizing, and debris removal tasks.
- Take moisture readings, create floor plans, and update insurance systems.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and loss adjusters on-site.
Requirements
- Experience in restoration, construction, or a hands-on trade.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling customer interactions under pressure.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- BDMA or IICRC certification is a bonus but not essential.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in restoration work.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.
