We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual Secondary Teacher (Maths, English or Science) - Remote to join our innovative team at EQL Edtech. In this role, you will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to secondary students through virtual platforms. What You'll Do

  • Deliver prepared lessons to Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5 in Maths, English, or Science.
  • Engage with students using digital platforms to create an interactive learning environment.
  • Utilize your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to ensure high-quality education delivery.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students and foster an inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain strong communication with students and their families to support educational development.
  • Set your own schedule and manage your workload based on demand.
  • Participate in a supportive virtual learning community with fellow educators.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience in teaching secondary education is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching platforms and online learning tools.
  • Availability to teach during specified hours, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 17:00.
  • A passion for education and commitment to student development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with online teaching methodologies.
  • Ability to create innovative lesson plans that engage students.
  • Knowledge of educational technology tools.
