About the Role

We are looking for a Video Business Development Intern to join our dynamic team at Axel Springer. This remote opportunity allows you to work at the intersection of editorial, tech, licensors, and business, contributing to formats that captivate millions. As a Video Business Development Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of journalism as a business model, while also investing in innovative technologies.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the creation and implementation of licensing agreements for sports and entertainment formats.
• Plan live broadcasts and coordinate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders using your organizational skills.
• Collaborate with Media Impact to develop marketing concepts for our video content.
• Oversee our FAST channels, including program planning, promotions, and SEO measures.
• Utilize data-driven dashboards and analyses to identify optimization potentials for reach and formats.
• Prepare presentations and decision-making materials for management, contributing to the strategic development of our video activities.
• Support the development and implementation of new video formats and strategic co-productions.

Requirements

• Currently studying media, communications, business sciences, or a related field.
• Ideally, you have some experience in media production, project management, or business development.
• Strong interest in digital business models, streaming, and video innovations.
• Structured, proactive work style with a strong team spirit.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in video production or related fields.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with project management software.
