About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President DevSecOps Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Vice President in this role, you will lead the development and implementation of security practices within our DevOps processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the security posture of our cloud infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration with our development teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the DevSecOps strategy, ensuring security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Oversee the implementation of security best practices across cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and automate security processes.
  • Manage the deployment of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and FluxCD.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
  • Drive the adoption of container security practices within Kubernetes and Docker environments.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams on security principles and practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to continually enhance our security framework.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps and security roles, with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects in a remote environment.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.

  • Familiarity with SEC filings and fund accounting.
