Site Supervisor - Leading Construction Team

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Provide leadership and support to your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage on-site performance, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate logistics and deliveries to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Mentor and develop trainees and apprentices, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
• Promote a strong safety culture, leading by example and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Act as a liaison between various teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including reporting and material ordering.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Experience in carpentry, joinery, bricklaying, or stonemasonry is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other work-related applications.
• Recognized safety qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work outdoors and manage a small team effectively.
