Unity App Developer and Administrator - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Unity App Developer and Administrator to join our team at CleverBooks. This remote Unity App Developer position is open to EU-based candidates only. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our augmented reality (AR) applications, contributing to the future of education.

What You'll Do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AR applications in Unity for Android, iOS, and WebGL.
• Implement and support multi-user networking using Photon.
• Manage builds, releases, versioning, and live app administration across platforms.
• Utilize Git and Unity Version Control (UVCS) for clean, reliable codebases.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance, stability, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with product, design, and content teams to deliver features and improvements.
• Maintain documentation, code quality, and development pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong written and communication skills in English; Russian is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Experience in AR app development in Unity for Android, iOS, and WebGL.
• Familiarity with multi-user networking using Photon within Unity.
• Proficiency in Git version control with UVCS.
• Experience in deployment, maintenance, and administration of applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience in educational technology or similar fields.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
