UI/​UX Experience Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Experience Designer remote to join our innovative team at ST Engineering. In this role, you will not only be responsible for interface development but also ensure the highest quality of user experience. Your keen eye for design aesthetics will play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of our applications, making them not just functional but also visually appealing.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes, and design specifications for web and mobile platforms.
• Contribute to and maintain the internal design system, ensuring consistency in components, styles, and documentation.
• Assist in user testing sessions, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design intent is preserved during the handoff and implementation phases.
• Iterate on designs based on peer reviews, stakeholder feedback, and usability findings.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Figma, with advanced knowledge of Auto-layout, Components, and Variables.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, spacing, grid systems, and color theory.
• Solid understanding of UX fundamentals, user flows, information architecture, and common design patterns.
• A portfolio showcasing at least 2 years of full-time professional work, including case studies that demonstrate problem-solving and process.
• Design, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for better collaboration with developers.
• Experience working in a remote team environment.
