Mobile App Product Specialist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Mobile App Product Specialist to join our Business Innovation team at MSC Cruises Headquarters in Geneva. This Mobile App Product Specialist remote position is designed for a data-driven professional with a strong commercial acumen, an analytical mindset, and a passion for optimizing mobile user journeys. The successful candidate will explore in-app behaviors, remove friction in the sales funnel, and drive product-led initiatives to maximize conversion rates and shape the future of digital guest experiences across the MSC for Me digital ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Analyze the MSC for Me in-app user journey and behavior to identify bottlenecks, proposing and validating product initiatives that optimize the sales funnel and boost in-app conversion rates.
- Collaborate with Product, Tech, and UX/UI cross-functional teams to design and implement features that drive organic user acquisition and increase cross-selling/up-selling opportunities for the MSC for Me digital ecosystem.
- Implement and optimize the in-app position of commercial offerings to maximize visibility and sales conversions specifically for mobile users.
- Use advanced product analytics tools and data visualization (Power BI) to track sales performance, user activation rates, and drop-offs into the MSC for Me digital ecosystem.
- Act as a bridge between the Onboard Revenues Commercial department and the Tech/Development teams, translating revenue goals into clear digital product requirements to enhance the MSC for Me digital ecosystem.
- Drive MSC for Me channel-led acquisition by refining native in-app features—such as frictionless guest-to-registered user flows, invite-a-friend mechanisms, and seamless app sharing—to grow the user base.
- Conduct A/B testing on MSC for Me in-app sales flows, checkout processes, and subscription models to continuously improve operational efficiency and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing Management, Digital or a related field.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in digital sales, product growth, or digital business development, with a strict focus on mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with app analytics, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and data manipulation/visualization tools (Power BI, SQL; Python is a plus).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and ability to work side-by-side with developers and product managers in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable business and product recommendations.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, capable of driving "Product-Led Growth" rather than relying on traditional marketing spend.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

- Deep understanding of mobile user behavior, digital sales funnels, and product-centric acquisition ecosystems.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on maximizing Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and removing friction from the mobile buying experience.
