Trading Risk Manager - Remote Opportunity at Crypto.com

About the Role

We are seeking a Trading Risk Manager to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to manage risks associated with various crypto products, including spots and derivatives. As a core member of the Trading Risk Control team, you will drive the development and execution of our risk management strategy for the Korea Trading Business.

What You'll Do

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of trading strategies and implement appropriate risk metrics and quantitative analytics on trading performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on trading desks' risk exposures, ensuring real-time monitoring of limits and reporting breaches.
• Collaborate with trading desks to recommend risk mitigation strategies and follow up on actions to resolve breaches.
• Establish risk management policies and procedures to assess, monitor, and report material risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with quant developers to build risk modeling tools and dashboards for real-time trading risk monitoring.
• Prepare regular reports and audit responses for the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) in Korea and other financial authorities.

Requirements

• A degree in a quantitative discipline with professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM being an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of risk management experience in a quantitative trading firm, investment bank, or hedge fund.
• Hands-on experience in developing risk management procedures and building risk monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Native proficiency in Korean.

• Experience with quantitative analytics in trading environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the crypto space.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced trading environment.
