Temporary Volume Counter - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are looking for a Temporary Volume Counter to join Canada Post in a remote capacity. You will assist in collecting information about delivery routes, ensuring efficient postal operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist in preparing offices for volume counting.
- Count letters and oversized mail in carriers' bags and record quantities in a register.
- Fill out route sampling forms to gather information from carriers.
- Weigh mail for delivery by carriers.
- Assist in analyses using a calculator.
Requirements
- Completion of Grade 10 or Secondary 4.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong listening skills.
- Basic math knowledge.
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 hours between 6 AM and noon.
- Attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Ability to collaborate with others and follow instructions.
