Senior Healthcare Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce a remote opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team at Brainkind. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will coordinate the provision of high-quality holistic person-centered care and support to our service users. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care, and you will play a key role in mentoring junior staff.

What You'll Do

• Carry out and delegate care and support tasks while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Promote the rights and choices of individuals, ensuring their beliefs and preferences are acknowledged.
• Comply with national and local policies, procedures, guidelines, and legislation.
• Complete local and corporate induction and attend mandatory and priority training.
• Enhance the delivery of care by reviewing and suggesting improvements to the individuals’ experience.
• Encourage individuals and their representatives to raise concerns and complaints freely.

Requirements

• Must have S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
• 2 years of relevant care work experience.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good computer literacy and communication skills.
• Demonstrable skills in leadership and supervision.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring, with relevant qualifications preferred.

• Audit awareness and competencies specific to the specialty.
