Temporary UX/​UI Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Temporary UX/UI Designer to join our team remotely. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in UX design and project management, who is eager to contribute to innovative projects with a global industry leader like Samsung. As a Temporary UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences and ensuring that our products meet market demands.

What You'll Do

• Communicate device UX (Samsung One UI) with carriers, gather feedback, and work closely with designers in South Korea to enhance the Samsung device experience.
• Review and analyze UX in early phases of development and deliver relevant feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as product design, research, engineering, and marketing, as well as external partners like telecommunication operators.
• Ensure UI development results meet consumer demand, technical specifications, and carrier requirements.
• Analyze UX of competing mobile devices and market trends in mobile UX.
• Conduct design research and propose new concepts with mockups.
• Conduct group usability studies and document results and analysis of the studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in UX/UI design.
• Deep knowledge of application architecture, software design processes, and UI/UX design deliverables.
• Experience in designing mobile applications from research to delivering design artifacts.
• Strong time and project management skills under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of taking ownership of projects.
• Working knowledge of usability testing and design tools like Adobe.
