About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Delivery Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the data landscape of our organization. As a Technical Lead / Delivery Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions, ensuring quality and excellence in all aspects of data engineering.

What You'll Do

  • Define and drive quality, consistency, and excellence in all aspects of Data Engineering within the Enterprise Data Teams.
  • Mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
  • Manage issues, risks, and dependencies, ensuring effective communication and acknowledgment.
  • Ensure the use of best practices, coding standards, and proper documentation in all technical deliverables.
  • Translate business problems and opportunities into data engineering solutions.
  • Continually develop data engineering knowledge and skills to stay current in a fast-changing field.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues proactively with and on behalf of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in DevOps, software development, data engineering, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated data management and coding skills.
  • Experience building complex data solutions, data integration processes, and tools.
  • Excellent experience in AWS services and Big Data solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional squads.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless architecture and storage management.
  • Knowledge of SAS application management.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies.
