About the Role

We are currently seeking a Technical Assessment Data Analyst Intern - Remote to join our team for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data analysis while working remotely. As a Technical Assessment Data Analyst Intern, you will start in September and work part-time through mid-December, contributing to real projects that impact our clients.

What You'll Do

  • Comprehend client specifications and requirements and translate them into software and ultimately production-ready client deliverables.
  • Write Python scripts to perform data analysis and assure the overall quality of the client deliverable.
  • Interact with internal and external users to obtain and convey concise problem information in a professional manner by phone, email, and online collaboration tools.
  • Utilize your data analysis programming experience in Python to solve complex problems and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with a strong emphasis on data analysis.
  • Experience with libraries such as pandas; familiarity with ReportLab is a plus.
  • R programming experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • Comfortable working remotely and using collaboration tools, including email and MS Teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
  • Previous internship experience in a data analysis role.
