About the Role

We are looking for a Team Lead, Payroll Operations - Remote to join our dynamic team at Deel. As a leader in payroll operations, you will manage a team of payroll specialists while actively supporting payroll execution across multiple customers and entities. This role is crucial in driving process improvements and ensuring compliance in payroll operations.

What You'll Do

• Process payroll for assigned customers and provide guidance to team members as a subject matter expert.
• Lead a team of Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and compliant payroll delivery.
• Implement and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controls.
• Analyze payroll data to identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements.
• Deliver training and communication to internal teams to ensure understanding of payroll processes.
• Manage relationships with payroll vendors and tax authorities to ensure timely filings and payments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities.
• Strong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations.
• Experience with local payroll systems and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Bonus for people management experience.
