Supplier Quality Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Leader to join our team at Thales, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance across our supply chain. This Supplier Quality Leader remote position offers a unique opportunity to work within a highly regarded team dedicated to delivering operational advantage in the defence sector.

What You'll Do

• Act as the dedicated Quality & Customer Satisfaction partner for the Procurement functional area.
• Improve supplier quality performance by collaborating with procurement representatives on cross-functional issues.
• Conduct quality assessments in supplier selection and reduce non-quality issues stemming from internal processes.
• Lead Supplier Quality Improvement Plans (SQIP) and report progress through scorecards and metrics.
• Deliver training to Quality Assurance Managers (QAMs) on best practices for Supply Chain Quality.
• Support root cause analysis and manage the cost of non-quality (CoNQ).
• Deploy and manage supplier audit plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and project management.
• Experience in risk and opportunity management with effective mitigation strategies.
• Solid understanding of supply chain, industrial operations, logistics, and manufacturing.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the aerospace and defence industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within quality assurance.
