What You'll Do

• Architect and evolve our iOS codebase, making key decisions on modularization and state management.
• Lead initiatives that enhance the developer experience, focusing on build systems, CI/CD automation, and advanced testing patterns.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to transform complex ideas into seamless user experiences.
• Mentor and guide senior engineers, fostering a culture of growth through design reviews and tech talks.
• Dive into the code to tackle challenging bugs and optimize performance, ensuring a high-quality product.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in building consumer-facing native iOS apps, with a proven track record at a Staff or Lead level.
• Deep understanding of SwiftUI and Swift Structured Concurrency.
• Experience managing large, complex codebases and high-traffic applications.
• Strong English communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with ownership of work and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of Swift 6 Data Race Safety and experience with app architecture evolution.
• Experience optimizing build times and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in performance optimization and experience with ML and advanced image processing.
• Knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and accessibility standards.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field.
