VP of Finance - Remote Opportunity at Tide

About the Role

We are seeking a VP of Finance to join Tide in a remote capacity. As the VP of Finance, you will play a crucial role in driving Tide’s financial integrity and operational excellence. This position is pivotal for ensuring the accuracy and transparency of financial information as we scale globally. You will lead Tide’s Group reporting, controllership, audit, reconciliations, and key financial governance processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead and own Tide’s group financial reporting and controllership, ensuring accurate, timely month-end and year-end close processes across all entities.
• Oversee group consolidations, intercompany processes, and balance sheet integrity, maintaining high standards across accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality management accounts and financial reporting that support executive decision-making and board reporting.
• Manage Tide’s statutory reporting and external audit processes, ensuring smooth audit cycles with no surprises.
• Act as the senior owner for complex accounting matters and technical judgments, providing clear guidance and maintaining robust documentation.
• Lead Tide’s treasury and liquidity management, including cash forecasting and oversight of banking relationships.
• Build scalable treasury frameworks to manage liquidity and financial resilience as Tide grows internationally.
• Continuously strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks to protect the integrity of Tide’s financial operations.

Requirements

• Proven senior finance leadership experience (15+ years), including controllership and group reporting in fast-growing global organizations.
• Deep understanding of IFRS and UK/International GAAP frameworks.
• Strong experience leading treasury, cash forecast modeling, and banking relationships.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills, with a history of impactful decision-making.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

• Experience in managing complex reconciliations and control frameworks.
• Ability to simplify complexity and inform senior leaders with clarity.
