What You'll Do
- Gain and continuously extend in-depth knowledge of Intel graphics architecture and features.
- Design, develop, and test graphics system-level software and tools using a structured approach.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications.
- Implement software performance improvements and recommend future hardware and software enhancements.
- Ensure our hardware and software function and perform as expected.
- Root-cause and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ and scripting languages with 5+ years of experience in commercial C++ software projects.
- 2+ years of experience with OpenCL and Level Zero APIs.
- Skilled in resolving complex technical issues and experienced with software revision control, debugging, logging, and tracing tools.
- Familiar with Windows and Linux, including application and driver development.
- Strong English communication skills and a quick learner.
Nice to Have
- Deep knowledge of 3D graphics and GPGPU APIs (OneAPI DPC++, CUDA, Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL/ES).
- Experience in open-source development for Linux with proven contributions.
- Hardware simulation/emulation/virtualization experience.
- Performance analysis and optimization skills.
- Low-level programming and hardware expertise.
- Understanding OS internals and test-driven development experience.
