What You'll Do
- Design and implement complex backend systems from the ground up.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and infrastructure teams to develop innovative solutions.
- Build backend services in AWS to monitor and manage our autonomous fleet.
- Establish technology and infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Engage with stakeholders across various teams to achieve company milestones.
- Contribute to team culture through mentorship and collaboration.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance user experience and engineering efficiency.
- Own the product lifecycle from development to post-release support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in backend service engineering, focusing on high-availability cloud services.
- Proficiency in modern technologies such as Golang, Python, C++, gRPC, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience with databases like Postgres and Redis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience in SaaS development and production rollouts.
- Familiarity with fleet management solutions for autonomous vehicles.
- Desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT devices and Over-the-Air communication.
- Knowledge of cloud environments such as Google Cloud or Azure.
- Experience building gRPC services using Golang.
