Trainee Workshop Operative - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Workshop Operative to join our growing team at THX. This Trainee Workshop Operative remote position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic workshop environment while contributing to our mission of delivering top-notch hire equipment services. As a Trainee Workshop Operative, you will assist with the cleaning and inspection of basic hire equipment while receiving training on the inspection and repair of more technical hire items.

What You'll Do

• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the presentation of equipment.
• Inspect and test returning hire equipment (training provided).
• Ensure THX identification numbers are clearly marked and visible on all items.
• Utilize a computer-based system for the administration of inspections.
• Regularly check, clean, and tidy the workshop environment.
• Provide support to the warehouse, workshop, and driving teams as required.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work accurately at speed.
• Good computer skills are essential.
• Must be a hard-working team player with a self-motivated attitude.
• Practical understanding and mindset with the ability to work quickly and methodically.
