Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Jaspi. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain, enhance, and scale automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Analyze test results, provide actionable feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI tools in testing environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
