About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer in Test to join Ten Mile Square Technologies, a high-end technology consulting firm. This remote Software Engineer in Test position offers the opportunity to work on a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise, where you will lead test automation efforts using cutting-edge technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the test automation efforts for a loan origination system using Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, and AWS components.
  • Collaborate with other Software Engineers in Test (SDETs) to design and implement test plans.
  • Create automated end-to-end and contract tests to ensure software quality.
  • Develop a performance testing framework and execute performance tests on the system.
  • Guide junior test engineers in their automated and manual testing efforts.
  • Work closely with the product team to define effective testing strategies.
  • Contribute to Agile team practices and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and represent Ten Mile Square with integrity.

Requirements

  • Expertise in software development with high proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Strong background in automated testing and familiarity with SQL.
  • Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, preferably Angular.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Experience with load testing frameworks like K6 or JMeter is a plus.
  • Full software lifecycle participation from requirements to post-implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about technology.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and services.
  • Familiarity with Linux command line.
