About the Role

We are looking for a Communications Manager to join our team at Navan in a remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing the Travel & Expense customer experience by ensuring our Global Operations & Service (GO&S) team is informed, valued, and empowered. As a Communications Manager, you will develop and share bespoke communications that bring our story to life and creatively inspire engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the GO&S leadership team to develop and ghostwrite key messages, flexing between strategic advisor and hands-on practitioner.
  • Develop and execute communication plans for key change management initiatives, ensuring GO&S colleagues understand and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Continuously explore and pilot emerging technologies to ideate and execute cutting-edge campaigns that communicate with impact.
  • Create unique and creative communications of all types on varying timeframes using your wealth of experience.
  • Deliver effective communications using multiple channels and methods for various stakeholders, including video.
  • Own and govern key GO&S communication channels (e.g., newsletters, intranet pages, dedicated Slack channels).
  • Proactively manage incoming communications requests and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Build relationships and collaborate across teams and departments to ensure a deep understanding of communications requests.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform decisions, recommendations, and actions, using it to tell compelling stories.
  • Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for communications, synthesizing insights to adapt strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in internal communications or similar roles.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience in travel and/or technology industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management communications is desirable.
  • Excellent people-focused communicator with a collaborative attitude.
  • A tech-forward and digitally fluent communicator, passionate about experimenting with new tools.
  • Proficiency in video creation and editing, with experience using tools to produce polished content.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the capacity to analyze data to improve internal communications.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in global communications.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for communication enhancement.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
