About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Technician, PSO - Remote Support Specialist to join our team at SiriusXM. This remote role will play a pivotal part in our Production Services Operations Team, ensuring seamless technical incident management and operational support for our innovative audio entertainment platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Guide all problems through the incident management process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct problem intake triage and investigation, collaborating with internal business stakeholders.
  • Manage resolver escalation and resolution validation to maintain service quality.
  • Oversee daily technical operations, including software deployments and system alarm management.
  • Maintain operational record keeping and documentation for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts across the organization to identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree, Technical School, or military training in computer systems management or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in a 24x7x365 multi-shift environment focused on monitoring and incident management.
  • Hands-on experience with trouble ticket systems and network monitoring tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, and knowledge of ServiceNow and Atlassian Suite is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with streaming technologies and the ability to generate technical operational documentation.
  • Knowledge of incident management processes and best practices.
