Senior Product Manager - Payments for Open Banking

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Payments to join Yapily's dynamic team. This Senior Product Manager - Payments remote position offers an incredible opportunity to lead the strategic development of our payment solutions, enhancing the way businesses interact with financial services.

What You'll Do

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for the products in the Payments portfolio, measured by OKRs/KPIs and driven by continuous improvements based on customer and market insights.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Risk & Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to clearly understand and document product requirements.
• Manage the go-to-market strategy of the product, partnering with Product Marketing and Commercial Teams through launch and driving customer adoption.
• Work closely with Product Owners and the engineering team to deliver on the strategy, drive effectiveness, prioritize product backlog, and manage the entire product lifecycle from opportunity discovery to product launch.
• Define and track the right product KPIs and team OKRs to measure quality, success, and impact.
• Engage with the Open Banking ecosystem—fintechs, banks, regulators, and operators—via working groups and bilateral conversations to build market knowledge, assess new opportunities, and develop new products.

Requirements

• A strong product mindset and the ability to set and execute strategy with a clear understanding of customer outcomes that align with company goals.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Payment Services, Identity & Verification, or Lending.
• Proven track record of owning products for B2B and B2B2C use cases.
• Strong understanding of industry practices relating to AML, Fraud, Risk, and Compliance.
• Ability to drive first-class end-to-end user experience.
• Self-starter who works effectively in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing ambiguity.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to funds flow, reconciliation, ledger management, and/or FX.
• Ideally have an engineering background or at least a good technical understanding.
