Software Development Engineer in Test III - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test III (SDET III) remote to join our innovative team at Subsplash. In this role, you will ensure the integrity and reliability of our Ultimate Engagement Platform through strategic automation and quality practices.
What You'll Do
- Architect scalable automation frameworks and test suites to enhance our software development lifecycle.
- Drive a strategic automation roadmap for multiple projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Implement AI solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to foster a culture of quality.
- Mentor and coach QA Engineers and SDETs, promoting best practices in automation testing.
- Analyze quality metrics for continuous improvement and champion technical excellence.
- Proactively identify risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to varied audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Requirements
- 6+ years of testing experience, with at least 3 years as an SDET.
- Advanced knowledge of software automation frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Experience in continuous integration environments like Jenkins, TravisCI, or GitLab.
- Proficient in programming or scripting languages, preferably Go or Java.
- Experience with API and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools for automated test generation.
- Ability to mentor QA Engineers transitioning to automation roles.
- Strong strategic mindset balancing execution and quality vision.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the church or non-profit sector.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
