About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager - Automotive Industry (Remote) to lead our team at VIP Tires & Service. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and fostering a positive work environment for our team members. This role is pivotal in achieving our mission to earn automotive customers for life.

What You'll Do

  • Inspire and lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure workplace safety is the top priority, adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Maintain the facility and equipment to meet safety and operational standards.
  • Enforce compliance with service codes and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure service standards are met.
  • Monitor performance metrics and work towards achieving targeted levels of performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in automotive service management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Understanding of automotive servicing and industry standards.
  • Current, valid driver's license and relevant certifications (ASE, Equipment Safety Certification).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with vendor training and certification processes.
  • Knowledge of automotive service management software.
  • Additional ASE certifications beyond the required ones.
