About the Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at Inspired Thinking Group. What You'll Do
- Transform designs from Figma or PSD into responsive, accessible, production-ready HTML/CSS.
- Develop interactive UI features using modern JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across various devices.
- Integrate frontends with APIs and effectively manage data returned from backend services.
- Build and maintain responsive HTML emails using best-practice techniques and support testing across different clients.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to deliver work that meets agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by creating reusable components and enhancing performance and maintainability of the code.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML5, modern CSS, and responsive layout techniques.
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind and preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+), including DOM manipulation, events, async patterns, and API integration.
- Proven experience in building production websites or web app UIs while effectively handling cross-browser issues.
- Comfortable using Git-based version control systems.
- Familiarity with modern tooling (npm, bundlers/build tools) and writing maintainable, well-structured code.
- Experience with design handover tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Nice to Have
- Experience with JavaScript libraries or frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte, Alpine.js, jQuery).
- Familiarity with email build and testing tools (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid) and email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor).
- Experience working in a ticketed workflow (e.g., Jira) and repository hosting (e.g., Bitbucket).
- CMS experience (e.g., WordPress, Umbraco).
- Basic PHP knowledge to understand templates and collaborate with backend developers.
- Exposure to PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and/or WordPress theme development.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL) and common web concepts (requests, sessions, authentication).
