Senior UX Designer - Remote Position at RedGIFs

About the Role

We are looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior UX Designer in a remote capacity. In this role, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to elevate the digital experience of our user base through consistency and simplicity. What You'll Do

• Analyze customers and business problems to identify pain points and create impactful design solutions.
• Collaborate with our leadership team to define and agree upon the design goals of the current platform.
• Present your design work and articulate your design decisions effectively.
• Work holistically across multiple platforms to solve problems, including the content app, studio app for content creators, and the admin dashboard for customer support.
• Contribute actively to and influence the evolution of the design system, mentoring peers on its effective utilization, and helping to set design standards and documentation.
• Review site implementation against the complete design system to ensure consistency, creating a list of required adjustments for the development team.
• Develop a list of recommendations to improve our design approach and system to help achieve wider business goals.
• Work closely with our front-end engineers, coaching them on the importance of design clarity and consistency during implementation.

Requirements

• Experience in identifying and describing design goals for systems, products, and services, preferably for mobile devices.
• Proven track record of evaluating existing design systems and working iteratively with teams to ensure feedback is understood and acted upon.
• Experience interpreting and following visual design and branding guidelines to create a consistent and impactful user experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Experience working closely with front-end teams to iterate on design development is highly preferred.
• Comfortable with being involved in the end-to-end development process, from ideation to design QA.
• Curious for data and experimentation, learning from results and turning them into new ideas.
• Data-informed approach to design decisions, balancing user insights, business needs, and technical feasibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Figma, React, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Amplitude and Clarity.
• Experience with component documentation tools like Storybook.
