About the Role

SeatGeek is looking for a Senior UX Designer remote to join our innovative team. We believe that live events are powerful experiences that unite people, and we are on a mission to simplify and modernize the ticketing industry. As a Senior UX Designer remote, you will play a crucial role in transforming live experiences through exceptional design and user-centered strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Deeply understand the needs, motivations, and behaviors of fans, sellers, teams, and artists.
  • Create clear and impactful strategies that guide the design process while ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Balance speed and quality, focusing on driving impact through both optimizations and new product development.
  • Demonstrate outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data, and systems thinking.
  • Collaboratively improve our component systems to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across the platform.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in UX design or a related field.
  • Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of technical and logistical obstacles that create friction during live experiences.
  • A mindset of a challenge, changemaker, and innovator.
  • Ability to work 4+ hours of overlap with a 9:30am-5:30pm East Coast workday.
  • A passion for live experiences and improving user interactions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with behavioral design and storytelling.
  • Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
  • Previous work in the ticketing or live events industry.
