About the Role

Weatherford Aberdeen has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Tubular Running Services Field Operator IV to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of tubular running operations, directly impacting the success of drilling projects and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Field Operators, providing guidance and training to ensure adherence to operational standards and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and oversee the rig-up and rig-down of TRS equipment, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and rig personnel, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Operate and maintain advanced TRS equipment, including power tongs, torque turn systems, and casing running tools, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform functional tests, inspections, and monitoring of equipment, adhering to specific work instructions and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Weatherford's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  • Conduct safety meetings, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety on-site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of oil and gas offshore field experience with at least 5-6 years in Tubular Running Services (TRS) in a supervisory role.
  • Strong critical thinking, active learning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Good time management and quality control analysis skills to ensure the product meets required standards.
  • Able to meet the physical demands that the role requires.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, and travel to remote locations as required.
