QC Laboratory Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated QC Laboratory Specialist remote to join our team at ESTEVE, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Barcelona. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of our products, and you will be at the forefront of our commitment to improving people’s lives. As a QC Laboratory Specialist remote, you will combine instrumental analysis, laboratory management, and active participation in audits and new projects.

What You'll Do

• Manage and train the laboratory team to ensure high-quality standards.
• Execute and review analyses, calibrations, and associated documentation.
• Oversee equipment management, including maintenance, qualifications, and liaising with technical services.
• Review raw data and issue analytical reports.
• Investigate deviations, OOS, OOT, OOE, and prepare CAPAs.
• Participate in audits and maintain direct contact with clients.
• Support new projects and adopt new techniques/methods.
• Manage logbooks, standards, and GMP documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, ideally Chemistry.
• Previous experience in QC or R&D in a chemical-pharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques (HPLC, HRGC, etc.).
• Experience in GMP environments and Data Integrity.
• B2 level English proficiency.
• Proficient in Office and LIMS systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with laboratory automation tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
