Senior Travel Consultant - Remote Position

About the Role

Join BCD Travel as a Senior Travel Consultant in a fully remote capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be the face of our company, helping clients travel smart and achieve more. This Senior Travel Consultant remote position allows you to leverage your extensive travel industry knowledge while working from the comfort of your home.

What You'll Do

• Search and confirm travel reservations for customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Understand client travel policies and provide consistent consultation to meet their needs.
• Fulfill requests regarding necessary regulations such as DOT, TSA, passports, and visas.
• Provide clients with essential industry information, including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties.
• Review operational processes and client relationships to suggest improvements.
• Maintain and expand your knowledge of the various travel industries supported.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Travel Agent.
• Strong understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes.
• Advanced skills in GDS Sabre.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing schedules.

Nice to Have

• Experience with corporate travel management.
• Knowledge of international travel regulations.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
