Student Technical Writer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Student Technical Writer to join our team at NETZSCH Group. This Student Technical Writer role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical communication while working remotely. You will be involved in redefining documentation structures and automating documentation processes, collaborating closely with various departments to enhance our technical documentation.

What You'll Do

• Make changes and additions to existing operating and assembly instructions.
• Transfer, modularize, and harmonize existing content according to editorial guidelines.
• Maintain metadata in the editorial system.
• Create and edit illustrations to support documentation.
• Work closely with different departments to gain insights into the operations of an internationally operating family business.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Technical Communication or a related field.
• Familiarity with XML editorial systems (ideally TIM-RS).
• Experience in a mechanical engineering company is a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in technical writing.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools for documentation processes.
