About the Role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator - Linux and Windows Client/Server to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex operational problems and ensuring highly reliable and available processing environments. As a Senior System Administrator, you will work with both Linux and Windows systems within an enterprise domain, contributing to the mission of the US Cyber Command.

What You'll Do

  • Resolve complex operational problems and ensure reliable Windows and Linux processing environments.
  • Serve as a senior-level System Administrator on a Linux and Windows Client/Server enterprise domain.
  • Develop and implement systems diagnostic and maintenance tools.
  • Evaluate and recommend new systems diagnostic tools and manage installations of software and hardware systems.
  • Work closely with customer officials to ensure seamless implementation of COTS applications.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet security clearance requirements.
  • Experience as a senior-level System Administrator in enterprise-level troubleshooting within a Linux/Windows environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral communication skills for briefing management and IT staff.
  • Problem-solving skills to address complex IT-related issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
