Plant Operator - Wastewater Technology (Remote)

About the Role

Are you passionate about wastewater technology? We are seeking a dedicated Plant Operator to join our team remotely and help shape the future of wastewater management. This Plant Operator remote position offers you the opportunity to work with an international, family-run company based in Einbeck, Germany. You will play a vital role in coordinating the semi-automatic processes of our wastewater treatment facilities.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate the control of semi-automatic processes via plant-specific controls.
• Replace and connect necessary auxiliary and operating materials, including acids and alkalis.
• Carry out repairs on pumps and plant components to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on filter presses and other plant equipment.
• Take wastewater samples for laboratory testing and communicate findings effectively.
• Order all auxiliary and operating materials as needed.
• Support as a forklift driver in the waste disposal industry and provide holiday replacements.
• Assist the energy specialist group with maintenance and repair tasks.

Requirements

• Completed technical training as a metalworker, mechatronics engineer, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in handling hazardous substances such as acids and alkalis; basic chemistry knowledge is a plus.
• Structured and independent work style with a strong willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, Teams, and SharePoint for documentation purposes.
• A valid forklift license and proficiency in German and good English skills are essential.

• Experience in wastewater technology or related fields.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
