Senior Staff Security Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Security Infrastructure Engineer to join our innovative team at Bloomreach. As a Senior Staff Security Infrastructure Engineer remote, you will play a critical role in shaping the security landscape of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security controls across our cloud platforms, ensuring that our systems are secure and resilient. This position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Central and Eastern Europe.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage current and target-state data architectures and reporting.
• Design, implement, and monitor cloud security controls for AWS and GCP.
• Deploy, secure, configure, and operate SIEM and other security resources.
• Identify, triage, and remediate infrastructure and web vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident triage and engage with external researchers.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on security best practices.
• Develop and operationalize organization-wide security standards and playbooks.
• Communicate effectively with engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in cloud security and infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in cloud security, network security, and common security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP security architectures.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with SIEM deployment and detection engineering.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and manage the CVE lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD security practices.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and adversary-focused testing.
• Knowledge of security automation and tooling development.
