Senior Software Engineer (Golang/​Ruby on Rails) - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails) - Remote to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects that are adjacent to our core businesses. You will be involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Engage in backend service and operation development, proposing architectural decisions, participating in designs, design reviews, coding, code reviews, and implementation of products bridging Crypto.com to developers and end-users.
• Develop our retail trading products and expand our offerings to new regions and countries.
• Identify issues and implement solutions for complex problems within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Provide reliable and reactive trading information streams to our customers.
• Offer technical operational support to resolve customer issues.
• Act as the project owner, embracing innovation by staying open to new technologies and encouraging experimentation.
• Collaborate closely with the DevOps and Infra team to improve the technology stack for long-term engineering initiatives.
• Manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

Requirements

• Experience with financial or payment systems is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Golang, with experience in other programming languages being an advantage.
• Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is preferred.
• Experienced in handling scalability, security, and performance optimization.
